SLEEPLESSNESS AND SLEEP ANXIETY
Program Details
Sleeplessness and sleep anxiety are intertwined issues that significantly impact an individual's well-being. Sleeplessness, or insomnia, involves difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early and not being able to return to sleep. This condition can lead to fatigue, irritability, and difficulty concentrating during the day. Sleep anxiety, on the other hand, is the fear or worry about not being able to sleep, which often exacerbates sleeplessness. Individuals with sleep anxiety may experience racing thoughts, heightened stress, and physical tension as bedtime approaches. The combination of these issues creates a vicious cycle where anxiety about sleep prevents relaxation and rest, further perpetuating insomnia.
