Anxiety is a common mental health condition characterized by persistent feelings of worry, fear, or unease. It can manifest in physical symptoms such as increased heart rate, muscle tension, and restlessness, as well as emotional symptoms like difficulty concentrating and irritability. Anxiety disorders vary in severity, ranging from generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) to specific phobias, social anxiety, and panic disorder. Treatment is aimed at managing symptoms and improving quality of life.

  • Identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety.

  • Exposure to feared situations or objects to reduce anxiety responses.

  • Learn techniques like mindfulness meditation to increase awareness and reduce stress.

  • Accept their anxious thoughts and feelings while committing to actions aligned with their values.
